When you love to skate, you dream of one day gliding across a vast expanse of natural ice. Skating almost without limits. Feeling the cold air on your face. Gazing at the horizon.
Listening to the blades cutting through the silence of the Far North. A natural-ice skating challenge in the heart of the Far North. Over three days, participants skate across the frozen expanses of Lake Inari, in Finnish Lapland, beyond the Arctic Circle: two morning stages and a third at night, on an illuminated track.
Three profiles
Supporter
Ally
You accompany one or more skaters without taking part in the races. You live the full adventure alongside the group: access to the start and finish areas to cheer on the participants, and snowshoes available throughout the stay.
Skater
Explorer
You practise or have practised a gliding sport: skating, hockey, roller skating, skiing… A timed format, solo or in a duo, to discover the natural ice of Lake Inari.
Experienced skater
Sports
You have good gliding technique and/or a good level of physical fitness. The most demanding format of the challenge, timed, solo or in a duo, with a ranking established at the end of the stages.
Distances are provided as a guide only and may be adjusted depending on conditions.
